so we have been busy these past few weeks. i just downloaded all the pictures from TJ's camera and from my phone. Now i am trying to sort to see what i should put on, i don't want to bore you with all of them so it is hard to pick which ones. let me give you a brief preview of what the pictures will be about.
TJ's high school did Showboat for their musical. TJ was not a performer but he was on the production crew. he really enjoyed that. i am not sure how many pics i have but that kept us busy for 2 solid weekends.
Dustin was involved in his cub scout pinewood derby, he won 1st place.
Random pictures of the kids playing together and Kenzie at the YMCA.
The last few pictures will be of a overnight getway that just the kids and I went to. Comfort Inn and Suites just built a hotel about 7 minutes away from out house and it has an indoor pool and jacuzzi. the kids had a day off from school on Friday so i took the afternoon off and we went to the hotel and swam and played, then went to dinner, walked around the mall (really that is something that we dont really do, we actually left after just a little while cause the boys were bored) got ice cream from mcdonalds and back to the hotel. the boys stayed up till like 1230, the girls we fell asleep around 1030. then the boys got up and went down and had breakfast all on their own while the girls slept (dont worry anyone, they had breakfast in the lobby and tj had his phone with him) and then of course we had to swim again before we checked out.
i will put pics on soon, but that was what we have been up to the last few weeks. the next 2 weeks will be a busy for TJ. he goes to Virginia Beach with the music department from april 1 till 5th. then on the 11th he goes to Puerto Rico for a week.

Fish Lunch, Arkansas Style
then we went to this local resturant for lunch. it was called FLying Fish. It was friday at lunch time and it was packed so it must be a great place so we stopped. then we realized 2 things. that it was friday during lent and that the womens ncaa basketball tournament is being played like 1 mile away. but the food was great, has catfish, fries, shrimp and hush puppies. they aslo have this place where you can bring those singing fish and the restuarant will "adopt" them and put on wall with your name and date. it was really cool
Exploration Time
Robert had to work for 3 hours on Friday morning. so i spent some time exploring the base. it really is set up nice for those that are stationed here. it has family housing so there is a lot for families to do. here is a list of things they have. an elementary school, playgrounds, baseball/softball fields with scoreboards, skatepark, batting cages. there are also 2 lakes to boat and fish at. a rec program that allows you to participate in things(like this weekend they have a rock climbing trip and a laser tag program) they also have a grocery store, department store, movie theater, bowling alley and library (with like 20 computers for the internet) so if you were here without a car you could live right on the base with no problems. i was going to take some pictures of the base but didnt have a chance. included are some pictures of robert's room so that you can see that he has a pretty nice set up. they also have a huge fitness center with equipment, racquetball courts and basketball court. in the warm weather they have a pool area with 2 pools. there are also a lot of walking trails around the base.

Movie Time in Little Rock

After Robert showed me around Little Rock we decided to go to the movies, haven't had the chance to go hold hands in a movie in a while. we lucked out, Twilight was showing, i have seen it but Robert hasn't and he wanted to see why i had my head in a book, well 4 books, for so long. but we got lucky cause we went to the 4pm show and it was only 50 cents. the popcorn was pretty reasonable price also. anyway that was our first day in Little Rock.

Little Rock
i just wanted to update you to tell you all where our family is right now. ok not the whole family just me. i was able to leave for a few days and fly down to little rock where robert is right now thanks to my parents for coming to help me and watch the kids. they actually got a really easy weekend, there are no activities scheduled for them that grandma has to run them to so it should go fairly smooth for them. also we gave up the paper route after 4 years so that should help with the stress not having to do that. ok i will try to update this and let you all know what little rock is like. robert is excited to show me that place that he has been for the last 4 1/2 months.
