Dustin was so proud of his pop up card that he made for us that i had to take a picture. he is my child that will take lots of time to make a card perfect but also the child that will just give us random cards for no reason, it is great.

Kenzie really thinks that she is playing the Wii with us when we are playing. this picture looks as though we had taken a break and she made a quick dash to grab the controls so she could have a turn.

I thought this would be better to see but i guess not, a rainbow came up one afternoon while i was out with Nick getting shoes and he thought it was a cool picture.

Dustin made these treats for us at cub scout pack meeting. he loved making them but i think he liked eating them nore.

We wash alot of towels in our house, during the warm months i hang them up outside, i was complaining to a friend of mine about electric bills and she mentioned how they hang their clothes up during winter also, they have a basement they can use so easier so i came up with the idea to put a clothesline in the kitchen since that is where the washer and dryer are. so we usually wash the towels late at night and then i hang them over night, seems to be working, now i hope my electric bill goes down, i am sure it will over time. Kenzie of course thought it was just fun to run under the towels.

Fall clean up at the Albrecht house, trying to get all the kids together was impossible and i did not want to take away from the momentuem that had built up since they were actaully raking up at the time.

and yes Kenzie, just ran around following the boys.

Halloween night, Kenzie and Robert are using Dustin's swords from his ninja costume to fight each other.

Kenzie was a cheerleader for halloween. she thought it was so much fun. after a few houses she was pretty good about going to the door and asking for candy. after halloween she would get her bag off the counter just like her brothers and say my bag, candy. we of course took most of her candy out but she sure thought it was cool just to get candy out and eat it. she had to dump it and look and put it back in each time.

a local state park that i had a meeting at, it was cold but really nice so i thought i would snap this picture, not bad for a non photographer.

Not sure if you can see this but Nick insisted i take this and put it on here. He was playing football in the gym and the ymca and ran into the wall basically. after a week of him complaining that it still hurt and that he couldnt use it i finally took him in, got xrays and the whole works all for them to tell me that nothign is wrong.

Kenzie is really good about sleeping whereever she falls, her favorite place is the couch. i think one of the boys took this picture, they love taking my phone and snapping pictures.

Nick and Dustin celebrating their birthday with a cake brought over by Grandma Albrecht. all the items you see on top were gummy worms, spiders and such. what a treat, the kids loved it!!!

Kenzie is helping TJ with the dishes, or TJ is teaching Kenzie how to do the dishes in hopes to make the job chart rotation longer.

Nick and Dustin on their birthday, thanks to Aunt Nancy for making the cake for them while we were at the wedding rehearsal, that meant a lot to me.

Kenzie is a little restless before the ceremony started so she thought it would be fun to roll around the church lobby. we figured it was harmless and it kept her busy and it made the guests laugh as they were arriving.

Sept & Oct 2009

Kenzie helping Rober put together our new futon, thanks to Laurie for passing it onto us.

Wendy's restuarant has this cupboard and Kenzie thought it was great fun to sit here and wait while we ordered food.

Kenzie is at home because she is feeling so sick, oh wait this is the picture of when she was feeling better.

This is the picture of her when she was feeling miserable. Oh yeah after being home for 5 days i finally took her to the dr and after the $20 copay was told she just has a virus, it will get better.

New School Year

Another school year will be starting on Wednesday. Hard to believe the time goes by like it does.
TJ is 15 and will be in 10th grade. He is taking some classes that i never even took, mostly AP classes, advanced math and science. And the best part is he really enjoys them. He is not a big fan of the reading and writing, he thinks it is boring. I am not sure what kind of extra activities he is planning to do this year but i will keep you informed. He is in chorus and plans to increase and keep up on his workouts. We bought a new harness for the dog which she seems to do much better on which helps when walking her and he wants to walk her everyday. I am proud of him for taking on this personal issue.
Nick is almost 13 and will be in 8th grade. He really does not like school at all. Or let me rephrase that, he does not like the school part of school but enjoys the socializing part of school. He does fine in school and strives to improve each day. I also am not sure what extra things he may be involved in but i am hoping to have him try the musical just for something new but we will see. I am sure he will play lacrosse in the spring since that is his passion.
Dustin is almost 10 and will be in 5th grade. This will be his last year in the elementary school before he moves on up. He has his ups and downs at school but for the most part enjoys going. He really likes anything hands on but when it comes to reading he fights me all the time about it. Maybe this will be a breakthrough year and he will enjoy the reading, i can only hope right? Anyway he wants a pass to our local ski mountain (ok really a hill for those who have been out west, but we take what we can here in upstate NY) so i told him we could get him one if he exercises on a daily basis so he has already started.
Kenzie will be 2 in just a few weeks. She will be spending her time with me at the YMCA. she enjoys going. she is really starting to become a little independent girl. she is completely taken off the bottle, though sometimes she asks and then laughs cause she knows she doesnt have one anymore. now we are working on the night time and sleeping but it may be a while. one little baby step at a time is what i say.
